To calculate the concrete for footing, we have to find the volume of the footing.

To calculate the volume, we have to take the Length, Breadth, and Depth of the footing.

 

Suppose the length of the foundation is 3400mm

The breadth of the foundation is 2600mm, and the depth is 5400mm and the number of foundations is 15, then our values will be

L = 3400 or 3.4m

B = 2600 or 2.6m

D = 5400 or 5.4m

 

And our calculation for excavation in earthwork will be (Length X Breadth X Depth)

=3.4 x 2.6 x 5.4 mᶟ

=47.74 mᶟ

For 15 nos. of footing, 15 x 52.45 cu m = 716.1 mᶟ
